Using Computer Aided Industrial Design And Development...

The Technology of designing with the aid of computers is developing swiftly. Computer in this era are the most reliable tools in industrial product design and development process. Not to mention with the emergence of the internet the human race has entered a digital age. Where, designing programs are so many and vary in terms of industry. For example, In the graphic design industry there are these is two famous corporations, Adobe which have Photoshop and Corel which have CorelDraw. Both of those programs are used almost daily by professionals and students of graphic designing. Their main focus on Photoshop is the bit map and on CorelDraw is vector graphics rendering. Indeed, these programs are helpful tools to make the designers work much easier, but the designers role is always accentuated. In the other hand, industrial designers got an option to assist them in different stages of their work by using computer-aided industrial design (CAID) software. This Software is capable of co mpleting design concept,drafting,2d rendering and with the aid of hardware it can physically prototype a product. It’s important to note that corporates are very interested in industrial designers who have theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge of the software. Hence, CAID courses are important in the major of industrial design which explains why many colleges are offering such courses to equip their students with skills required by the industry.
